The Division of Women shall develop and promote programs among Michigan Progressive Baptist Convention women that make their witness for Christ purposeful and progressive. This is accomplished by the following:

  1. Developing and promoting programs among Michigan Progressive Baptist women that will make their witness for Christ purposeful and progressive.
  2. Reaching the Christian women at the local church level by direct contact
  3. Submitting reports to the convention of its works, plan and needs when necessary

PROGRAM RATIONALE

  1. Give recognition and pay tribute to local church presidents.
  2. Provide the encouragement and willingness of each Christian woman to go out and witness for Christ
  3. Promote Christian fellowship between churches through participation and support of programs and projects

PURPOSE OF PROGRAM

To foster and promote the cause of missions generally and specifically in the church and denominations

  1. To apply Christian principles in community service
  2. To continue to inform the church in areas of mission
  3. To stimulate members in an active witnessing life
